Yes, 2012 is not the end of the world. And I don't know for certain that any planet X or Nibiru is headed our way in that year, or that pole shifts will destroy the vast majority of the earth either [pole shifts could happen, but have happened before in our past, with far less destruction]. But don't make the mistake of assuming that TPTB ("the powers that be") will allow that year to come and go without creating some "Sirius" problems on this earth so that they can march in as the "good guys" with their white hats and friendly smile to (supposedly) save the day. With their holographic technology they can make whatever they want to appear (alien invasion, Planet X, asteroid, etc.), with their GWEN towers can create whatever sound-effects they need (sounds of space ships, earth tremors, demons, or even the voice of 'GOD'), and add to the mix their HAARP technology through which they can actually create severe weather, droughts, and/or earthquakes! And even if a real crisis comes, they will make the most of the opportunity to take away even more of your freedoms. Remember, that this is all the "Problem-Reaction-Solution" paradigm of the Hegelian dialectic. I am not a prophet, and I avoid making specific statements about something without supporting evidence. Now we already know one thing for certain that will happen about that time, and we are already feeling the bite of it directly, and that is the massive economic and monetary collapse that is surely to come and is already well underway as of this writing (June, 2011). Having said that, there is plenty of circumstancial evidence in the current FEMA plans for mass detention centers and coffins for millions of people, the "predictive programming" from Hollywood over the past several decades, and the Biblical chronology (which places the end of 6000 years about 2015 or 2016, to show that something big is scheduled to take place by the ruling elite about the year 2012.
